Are You ready to Begin life's a game I play to win whether standing at the starting line or in the nick of time I build these walls surrounding me it's the only way I'm free from confusion and distraction I must isolate my action I'm an ant climbing my hill I must lift more than I weigh life is not an easy task and I ain't gettin nowhere fast I climb these steps of this old ladder some are weaker, some more stable let me throw you up a bundle now so I don't take no tumble I climb these stairs one by one and I won't stop until I'm done I won't stop until I'm done If you haven't seen me for a while I haven't been invisible I found my life I found myself and I can't be nobody else I move these pieces round the board no not one can be ignored they work together with the timing or there's no harmony, no rhyming it's my own beckon call it's my fate and that is all I can no more hesitate must go through the open gate I climb these stairs one by one yes I do and I won't stop until I'm done I wont stop until I'm done
